Cardi B has been authorized by a jury of Los Angeles in a demand of $ 24 million filed by a security guard who accused her of assault during an attack in 2018.
The rapper, whose legal name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, will not have to pay damage to the security guard.
Emani Ellis, the former security guard, who worked in the Beverly Hills building, where the Cardi B Obstetra office was located, said the incident left her with lasting physical and emotional scars.

She claimed that Cardi B cut her cheek with a 3 -inch nail and spat it, saying that the attack required plastic surgery and cost her work after the state of celebrities of the rapper caught the unwanted attention.
Cardi B, who was pregnant at that time and trying to maintain her first pregnancy with the offset husband in private, told the court that Ellis followed her, filmed her on a phone and refused to give her space. The jury finally put on the rapper side, dismissing the case.
The testimony of Cardi B, David Finke, and his receptionist during the trial supported his account, and both said they were never witnessing a physical fight. The office had been closed early that day to protect its privacy, according to judicial testimony.

After the verdict, dressed in a black outfit with white points and a red arch, Cardi B thanked his lawyers, jurors and followers during his comment outside the court.
“I am not even playing. Even if I am on my death bed, I swear for God, I will say it in my death bed, I did not touch that woman,” he said. “I didn’t touch that girl. I didn’t put my hands on that girl. I hope this is something that I leave behind.”
