The Pentagon said that two Venezuelan military planes flew near a US Navy boat. UU. Thursday in international waters in a “highly provocative movement.”
In a statement published on the social media platform X on Thursday night, the Department of Defense wrote the movement “was designed to interfere with our contrary narco-terror operations.”
CBS News reported Thursday that two armed Venezuelan f-6 fighters flew over the USON Dunham USON in what US officials believed it was a sample of force.

The measure occurred after President Donald Trump announced earlier this week that he had ordered the US military forces to hit a ship in the Caribbean Sea that said he had alleged drug smuggers from Aragua’s train, killing 11 people.
The Pentagon’s statement on Thursday continued to say: “It is strongly recommended to the poster that Venezuela executes that does not seek any additional effort to obstruct, deter or interfere with the counter-narcotics and counter-terror operations carried out by the US military.”
The Navy recently deployed eight ships in the Caribbean and the Pacific Ocean.
