A jury member at the Sean “Diddy” trial is talking a day after the jury acquitted the musical tycoon of two positions of sex trafficking and a conspiracy charge to commit extortion, but convicted of two transport positions to participate in prostitution.
The individual, who asked that his name be used due to what they said they were concerns about the possible online abuse and cyber harassment, told ABC News that they found the idea that the influence of celebrities played a role in the verdict of being “highly insulting and contempt for the jury and the deliberation process.”
The jury said they listened to a legal expert on Thursday, which implies that the combs celebrity could have played a role in the verdict.

“We spent more than two days deliberating. Our decision was based solely on the evidence presented and how the law is declared,” said the jury.
“We would have treated any accused in the same way regardless of who they are. I have nothing more to say,” the jury concluded his statement.
The divided verdict on Wednesday morning ran more than six weeks of testimony that involve 34 witnesses, including combs associates and two alleged victims: the former combs girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, and another ex -girlfriend who testified under the pseudonym “Jane”.
Combs denied bail at an audience on Wednesday afternoon and faces a maximum prison sentence of 10 years for each of the two guilty positions. His sentence is scheduled for October, although the defense is pressing for a previous sentence date.
